Robert V. Rondino, age 78, of Somerville passed away on Wednesday, February 4th, at Massachusetts General Hospital of Boston. Born in East Boston, he was the son of the late Anthony and Angela (Celestra) Rondino. As a child, Robert lived in Allston and Roslindale, where he graduated high school. He has live in Somerville for 46 years and worked as an event planner.
Robert was the beloved husband of Carmela (Noe) Rondino, and the brother of Carol Andersen and her husband Lawrence, and their son Larry. He was the brother-in-law of Vincenzo, Dominic and Sebastian Noe, and uncle of Angelo Noe and his wife Francesca, and Michael Noe. Robert is also survived by his great nephews Dominic Noe and Damien Noe.
Visiting hours will be held in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Friday, February 13th from 9 to 11 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in St. Catherine of Genoa Church, 179 Summer St., Somerville, at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
