Joan N. (Mazzeo) Craig, lifelong resident of Somerville, passed away on Wednesday, February 4th. She was 82. Born in Cambridge, she was the cherished daughter of the late Joseph and Frances (Anastasi) Mazzeo.
Joan was a lunch aide in the City of Somerville for many years. Joan enjoyed going to Foxwoods, playing cards, winning at bingo and flying out to Las Vegas with her husband Richard.
Joan was the beloved wife of 61 years to Richard Craig. She was the devoted mother of Deborah Stillings and her husband Michael and Richard Craig and his wife Lisa. She was a loving grandmother, as well as a dear sister of Frank Mazzeo and the late John Mazzeo. Joan is also survived by many loving family members and friends.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit with Joan’s family at the Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, on Wednesday, February 11th, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM, followed by a funeral service at 10:30 AM. Interment will be private.
