Obituary

Inez C. Fagerberg, 71, of Fordway Extension, Derry, NH, died peacefully Wednesday afternoon, September 4, 2002, at the Elliot Hospital in Manchester, NH following a brief illness. She was born in Everett, Mass. on December 10, 1930 a daughter of the late Herbert and Christina (Gustafson) Wallin. She was resident of Derry for the past 43 years, formerly living in Everett, MA. She was the widow of Arthur B. Fagerberg whom she married on January 8, 1955. Inez had been employed as the office manager for Mack’s Apples in Londonderry, NH for several years. Prior to that she worked at Associated Grocers in Manchester and at Monsanto Chemical Co. in Boston, MA. Inez was a founding member of the Calvary Baptist Church (now Calvary Bible Church) in Derry. She immensely enjoyed the company of her friends in the Senior Saints ministry and loved to have dinner and lunch with her many friends. She loved life and her Lord. She taught her children to be adventurous, for that they are eternally grateful. She enjoyed traveling with her children and grandchildren and roamed much of the United States as well as Sweden and England on various trips with them. She had recently returned home from a visit with her son and his family in Texas and was just beginning a trip to visit her daughter in Pennsylvania when she took ill. An avid reader, Inez collected books on a number of subjects and spent hours in her sunroom reading.

She is survived by two sons, Eric (wife Anita) Fagerberg of Arlington, Texas, Carl Fagerberg of Chandler, AZ, two daughters, Mrs. David (Linnea) Tideman of Landenberg, PA., Mrs. Joel (Carin) Meerdink of Greenville, SC, five grandchildren, Christina and Traci Fagerberg, and Lauren, Kristen and Sara Tideman, one brother, Clifford Wallin of Everett, MA, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Curtis Wallin.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 7th at 10:00 at the Calvary Bible Church, 145 Hampstead Rd., Derry. The burial will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery in E. Derry. Friends may call at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry on Friday, September 6th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the New Tribes Missions, 1000 E. First St., Sanford, FL 32771 or to the Association of Baptists for World Evangelism, PO Box 8585, Harrisburg, PA 17105.
