Jonathan (Jon) Howard Bogen, 31, of Camarillo, California, passed away on January 14th, 2026 in Oxnard, California. Jon was born in Thousand Oaks, California to Pamela and Michael Bogen on May 1st, 1994. He went to high school at Adolfo Camarillo High School (ACHS) and graduated as a Valedictorian in 2012. He was on the ACHS cross-country and track team for four years. He went on to attend the University of California, San Diego and graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering. Upon graduation, he worked in the pharmaceutical fields of packaging and chemical filtration systems in San Diego and Camarillo, California, respectively. Jon also lived abroad in The Netherlands for several years and became bilingual in Dutch. He was a renaissance man enjoying many varied activities including hiking, camping, rock climbing, traveling, mountain biking and playing guitar/ukulele. He was loved and adored by all who knew him.
Jon is survived by his parents, Pamela and Michael Bogen of Camarillo, California, his sister, Michelle Bogen of Santa Clara, California, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial service for Jonathan was held on Sunday, January 25th, 2026, at Temple Ner Ami in Camarillo, California.
