Anthony Shane “Tony” Moncus, 64, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Monday, February 2, 2026, at his residence.
The family will receive friends from 6-8PM, Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at the Paulk Funeral Home in Fitzgerald. Funeral services will be held 1PM, Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville, Georgia.
Tony was born August 18, 1961, in LaGrange, Georgia, to the late Vent and Rudene Smith Moncus. He worked for Segraves Sound Systems, Help Link and Light House Services, fixing electronics throughout his life. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. In his spare time, he enjoyed helping anyone in the community. Tony was a member of The Grove in Fitzgerald, Georgia.
He is survived by his wife, Lori Moncus; children: Shanna (Chuck) Hester, Dana Clayton, Shane (Emily) Moncus and Tyler (Belinda) Moncus; 13 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild; a sister, Wanda Patrick, and several nieces and a nephew also survive. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Don Patrick.
