ALTON BAY ---- Carol Edith Lionetta, 83, of Riley Road, passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2026 at home surrounded by her loved ones.
Carol was born on September 26, 1942, in Cambridge, MA, the daughter of Edward Rhones and Jeanie (Adam) Rhones.
Carol enjoyed game shows, NASCAR, gardening, word searches, playing Mahjong and BINGO. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Carol volunteered for Make-a-Wish Foundation.
Carol is survived by her sons William Lionetta, Jr. and his wife Tracy, and Scott Lionetta; grandchildren Sara Rines, Adam Rines, Ashley Sider and her husband Craig, Michael Lionetta, Nick Lionetta and his wife Taylor, and Shannon Lionetta; and great-grandchild Jaxon. In addition to her parents, Carol is predeceased by her husband William J. Lionetta, Sr., her son-in-law Kevin Rines, and great-grandson Miles Lionetta.
