Patricia Beth Smith, 86, of Omega, formally of Fitzgerald, died Sunday, January 25, 2026, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center in Moultrie, Georgia.
Graveside services will be held 4PM, Friday, January 30, 2026, at Evergreen Cemetery, Fitzgerald, Georgia, with the Rev. Ricky Kellum officiating. The family will greet friends at the cemetery following the services.
Mrs. Smith was born August 5, 1939, in Fitzgerald, Georgia to the late Thomas Judson and Ruby Verne Hall Ball. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting and going to church. Mrs. Smith attended Abundant Life Worship Center in Fitzgerald.
She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Edge of Omega; son, Randy Gunter of Fitzgerald; grandchildren: Terri Ann Edge & fiancé’ Troy Moore of Omega, Tracy Gunter and Lisa Gunter of Pine Mountain; great grandchildren: Megan Baker and Austin Baker; and a sister, Gail Ball Douglas of Jacksonville, Florida.
