Beloved sister of John Penney and his wife Jeanne of Revere, Jeanne Barbati and her husband John of Medford, Robert Penney and his wife Marie of Stoneham, William F. Penney of Everett and Patricia Ryan of Groveland. Lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral from the Smith Funeral Home, 125 Washington Avenue, CHELSEA on Tuesday morning, September 12th at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in Our Lady of Grace Church, 59 Nichols Street, CHELSEA/EVERETT line at 9 o'clock. Visiting Hours in the Smith Funeral Home on Monday from 6-8 PM. Services will conclude with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
Born in Chelsea, Barbara at 71 years of age passed away Friday at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital after a very brief illness. For many years she was employed as a clerk at Sears in Boston.
