SANBORNTON ---- Gilbert R. Lawrence, Jr., 68, of Lower Bay Road, passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at Concord Hospital in Concord, NH.
Gilbert was born on January 9, 1958, in Cambridge, MA, the son of Gilbert Lawrence, Sr., and Agnes (Messier) Lawrence.
Gilbert loved being a husband, father and grandfather. He worked as a physical therapist; he helped many patients and everywhere Gilbert went, there was a patient that remembered the help he gave them, they were always so appreciative. He was the best dad that Gil and Tyler could ever hope for and taught them so much along the way.
Gilbert was one of the good guys, always there to lend a helping hand, never too busy for others and always put everyone else first. He loved the outdoors and doing projects to stay busy. He was such a generous, kind, patient and caring teacher and person. He was old school.
Tears flow like rain. He will be forever missed and will be in our hearts where we hold our memories of him closely.
Gilbert is survived by his loving wife, soulmate and best friend, Susan (Shapiro) Lawrence, sons Gilbert Lawrence and Tyler Lawrence and his partner Halley, his two grandsons Cameron and Jackson, his three sisters, Julie, Laurie and Janet and two nieces Jennifer and Amanda. He is predeceased by his parents Gilbert and Agnes.
