
William (Bill) Rothman, 83, of Mansfield, Massachusetts passed away peacefully on the morning of Monday, January 26, 2026. The son of Harry Rothman and Gertrude (Valentine) Rothman, he was born in Brooklyn, New York on October 30, 1942.
Bill is survived by his loving wife, Sharyn Beth (Wolfson) Rothman, with whom he would have celebrated a 60th wedding anniversary in June, 2026. Bill is also survived by their three children, Gari Lisa (Bill) Mackiewicz of Mansfield, Alana (Jim Whittenburg) Rothman of Madeira, OH and Jason (Pam) Rothman of Maineville, OH. He was the very proud grandfather of Samantha and Jack Mackiewicz. Bill is also survived by his sister, Roslyn Goldberg of Queens, NY.
Bill was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather who loved listening to music (especially Bob Seger and Chuck Berry), reading, spending time with his grandchildren, walking his dog Enzo, and cheering on his New York Yankees and New England Patriots. Bill was a master electrician for many decades, helping to build landmarks in Manhattan, Cincinnati, and Boston across his career as a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
