
Richard Paul Jordan, 60, of Fitzgerald, died Monday, January 26, 2026, at the Wilson Hospice House in Albany, Georgia.
Memorial services will be held 11AM, Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Holt Baptist Church, Wray, Georgia, with the Rev. John Gibbs, Jr. and Minister Michael Lamb officiating. The family will greet friends following the services at the church.
Richard was born August 14, 1965, in Savannah, Georgia, to the late Warren Candler and Betty Lou Surprise Jordan. He received his certification as a Lumber Inspector from the National Hardwood Academy in Memphis, Tennessee. He enjoyed fishing and playing music. Richard worked as a Steelworker for Kampco Industry for 18 years. He was a hard worker and loved his family, especially his children. Richard was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife; Rebecca Jordan of Fitzgerald; children: Christina Jordan of Fitzgerald and Warren & Elizabeth Jordan of Ocilla; a brother, Robert Patrick Jordan of Greenwood, South Carolina and a sister, Anne Pisarchuk & Paul of Lawrenceville; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Jordan.
