Joan Christine Gibbs Justice, 77, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, gained her heavenly wings January 25, 2026, at Palemon Gaskins Memorial Nursing home in Ocilla, Georgia.

Ms. Justice was born October 4, 1948, to the Late Lewis & Sarah Dickerson Gibbs. Ms. Justice loved, her kids, grandkids, & family, and quilting, she put a lot of love into each stitch. But most of all she Loved Jesus. Throughout her years she played soft ball. She loved working on cars and was good at it. She made quilts for the Co-Op Craft store in Tallulah Falls and Clarkesville, Georgia. She Traveled throughout the United States. Ms. Justice was of the Holiness faith and a Member of the New Testament Holiness Church, in Fitzgerald Georgia.
She is survived by her children: Andrew & Christina Justice of Fitzgerald, Tammy & Werner Gomez of Clarkesville, and Matthew & Barbara Justice of Samson Alabama; grandchildren: Christy Grant, Lara Grant, Tim and Kayce Grant, Aaron Justice, Jeff Mooney, April Mooney; bonus grandchildren: Gabrielle Williams, Josiah Williams; great grandchildren: Destiny Busch, Sara Jack, Michelle Jack, Andrew Krieger, Kimberly Jack, Ranger Grant, Timothy Mooney, Amber Boothe, Jaxsen Elmore, Destin Mooney, Lillie Mooney, Wynter Justice; bonus great grandson, Manolo Ventura; a sister, Dorthy Chambers and several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Donald “Jimmy” Justice; sons: Jimmy Wayne Justice and Donald Wayne Justice; brother and sisters: William Gibbs, Lillie Justice, and Emily Smith.
