Cidalia M. “Cindy” (da Camara) Fonseca, 82, of Brockton passed away on January 22, 2026. She was the wife of the late Victor M. Fonseca. For many years she worked as an Office Clerk in the Metal Stamping Industry. She was a long time communicant of St Ann’s Church in West Bridgewater, and was a long-term member of the St Ann’s ladies prayer group. Cindy loved fashion, and looking good. Loved to cook traditional Portuguese food for her family, enjoyed being a seamstress, crocheting, and knitting.
She is survived by her daughter Helen M. Fonseca of Taunton, her grandson Trevor S. Lewis, her sister Maria Carreiro and her husband Victor, of Raynham. Her nieces Simone Fonseca, Patricia, Kristin, and Kimberly Cassidy, Ashley O’Neill, and Sandra Nicholson.
Visitation will be held at the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Route 123) Brockton, MA on Monday, February 2, 2026 from 4 to 7 pm. The procession will gather at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 3rd at 9:30 am for her funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, West Bridgewater at 10:30 am. Burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery, West Bridgewater.
