Jackie Lee Kimbrell

Jackie Lee Kimbrell, 89 of Rocky Mount, formerly of Fitzgerald, GA, passed away Thursday, January 15, 2026.
Jack was a veteran of the Air Force and loved serving his country. He loved the Lord, and his church family at Oak View Baptist Church. Jack loved life, and was always laughing and cutting up. He owned an upholstery business for many years, worked for Levi Co., and was a former bus driver for the school system in Fitzgerald, GA.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Saturday, January 31, 2026, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, Georgia with the Rev. Zack Padgett officiating. Private interment will follow in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery, Coffee County, Georgia.

He is survived by his fiancé, Helen Boyd Winstead; son, Michael Kimbrell (Cynthia); daughter, Jackie Lemmons (Michael), brother, James Alexander (Sherry); several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death are his father, Joseph Kimbrell; mother and stepfather, Alma and Obide Morris Alexander; brothers, Cecil and Carl Kimbrell; and sister, Gwennell Walsh.
