Hugh Curtis Kinnett, Jr. “Papa Curby”, 60, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Monday, January 19, 2026, at Regency Hospital in Macon, Georgia.

Mr. Kinnett was born December 11, 1965, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to Mary Spoon and the late Hugh Curtis Kinnett, Sr. He worked as a Pipeliner for Ensco Enterprises in Dallas, Texas. Mr. Kinnett loved to hunt, fish and play pool.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Cheryl Harper Kinnett, children: Hugh Curtis Kinnett, III and Heather Kinnett; step-children: Whitney Costa, Steven Costa and Matt Costa; grandchildren: Lily Kinnett, Ethan Reliford, Evan Reliford, Tyler Reliford, and Anzleigh Reliford; and a sister, Deidra Dixon.
