James E. Boynton a lifelong Newton resident, died Mon Sept 4, 2006 at Eastwood Care Center in Dedham. He was 66.
Born and educated in Newton he graduated from Newton High School. He was an avid Red Sox fan and a Ham Radio Operator.
He is survived by his mother Valerie (Farmer) Boynton of Newton, his sister Sandra MacDonald and her husband Dan of Newton and 3 nephews and 7 grand nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late William Reese Boynton.
A private funeral service was held in the Eaton & Mackay Funeral Home Newton Corner. Interment followed at Newton Cemetery.
