PLEASE NOTE TIME CHANGES DUE TO THE SNOW STORM: Lester's funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 27 in the Original Congregational Church of Wrentham at Noon.

CALLING HOURS will be held PRIOR to the service from 11:00 a.m. - Noon in THE CHURCH.

Lester Hunt Burch, Jr. ,88, of Milford, formerly of Bellingham, died January 16 at Milford Regional Medical Center. He was the husband of the late Elizabeth Rose (Hunt) Burch who died in 2019.

Born in Brooklyn, New York, July 31, 1937, the son of the late Lester H. and Thelma C. (Jay) Burch, Lester was raised in Detroit and Grand Haven, Michigan.

Lester had lived in Massachusetts for the past 45 years.

Lester received his Bachelors Degree from Valparaiso University in Indiana and his Masters Degree from Michigan State University.

Les was a lifelong educator who shaped countless futures. He began his career as a high school teacher, then becoming a high school principal for the last 30 years of his career, both in Michigan and at Walpole High School.

After retirement , Les pursued his lifelong love of music, becoming a singer. He performed as a Sinatra/Tony Bennett style entertainer at restaurants, public events, and in retirement communities for over 10 years.

Les is survived by his children, Adam Burch and his wife Michele of Norfolk and Nathan Burch of Wrentham.

He is also survived by his sister, Kathi Kishkorn and his cousin Kathy Jay Burch.

Les is also survived by his grandchildren, Remy Burch, Sydney Burch, and Dylan Burch all of Norfolk.

His funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 27 in the Original Congregational Church of Wrentham at Noon.

Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Walpole.

Calling hours will be on Tuesday, January 27, from 11:00-Noon in the Original Congregational Church of Wrentham.
