TZAMALAS Maria A. (Maniatis) of Canton, formerly of Westwood, and West Roxbury, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on January 16, 2026. Beloved wife of the late John George Tzamalas. Cherished mother of Nicholas Tzamalas and Stephanie Georgaklis and her husband Bill. Loving “Yiayia” of George Georgaklis and his wife Arianne, and Maria Georgaklis. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and relatives from her home city of Patras, Greece.
Funeral Service will be held at St. Nectarios Greek Orthodox Church, 39 Belgrade Ave. Roslindale on Friday, January 23rd at 12 noon. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 11am - 12 noon in the church. Burial will be private.
