Dorothy M. Myers, 83, of Auburn, NH formerly of Salem, NH passed away Thursday January 15, 2026, at her residence in Auburn after a period of declining health. Dorothy was born May 9, 1942, in Lawrence, MA and was a daughter of the late Arthur and Blanche (Gagnon) Durbin. She had resided in Salem, NH prior to relocating to Auburn to be with her daughter.
Dorothy was a homemaker and an Army wife specifically, travelling with her husband Bill and their two children, during his 21-year military career. After his retirement, they relocated to Salem where they lived until after Bill’s passing in 2024. Dorothy enjoyed feeding the birds and watching them from her bedroom window.
Members of the family include her daughter and husband Diana & Kirk Guimond of Auburn, four grandchildren, 8 great granddaughters, and 1 great great grandson. Dorothy was predeceased by beloved husband of 63 years, Charles W. “Bill” Myers in 2024, and by her son, Joseph Myers.
After cremation, Dorothy will be interred next to her husband at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, in Boscawen, NH. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium is assisting the family with arrangements.
