Mary Conti, 77 of North Providence died peacefully on Thursday, January 15, 2026 in Hope hospice Providence, Rhode Island . She was the widow of Donald Lariviere who died in 2001.
Born in Providence, Rhode Island, she was the daughter of the late George and Gertrude (Souza) Morancy. She later married Paul Conti of North Providence, where they lived for over 10 years.
She worked for Stop & Shop in Smithfield for over 25 years where she made many friends. She will be remembered, not only for her kindness and generosity, but also as a devoted mother and wife, a follower of Jesus Christ and the best grandmother ever who loved to play cards with family and friends.
She leaves behind her husband, Paul Conti. Her daughter, Michele Oram and her husband, Jim, her sons: Donald Lariviere and his wife, Aimee and Eric Lariviere and his wife, Amanda, her grandchildren : Scott, Richard, Jordan, Deanna, Courtney, Emily, Abigail, her great grandchildren: Spencer, Deacon, Sullivan, Jonathan, Julian and her sisters: Georgette Houde and Babe Clukey.
Her funeral service will be held Thursday, January 22, 2026 at 11am in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Burial is private. Visitation will be Thursday morning from 9-11am. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to New Hope Baptist Church, 65 S. Main Street, Pascoag, RI 02859
