LIMERICK- “Judi” Judith F. Bouffard, age 71, passed away peacefully on Jan. 16, 2026, at Mercy Hospital after 13 years of fighting leukemia.
She was born in Portland, Maine on Feb. 9, 1954, the daughter of the late Herbert and Patricia (Romano) Kimball and graduated from Bonny Eagle High School.
Judi retired from Wal-Mart after 20 years of employment.
She will always be remembered for her immense love of her family, her love of gardening- especially planting peas, listening to music, gaming, looking for sea glass and spending time near the ocean, taking trips to Eastport, baking - especially at Christmastime, and her amazing sense of humor. She was joking until her final day!
She is predeceased by a son- Shawn Bouffard.
Judi is survived by her loving wife- Jeanene Straitz; children- James Bouffard and his wife Samantha of North Waterboro, and Sarah Johnson and her husband Jason of Limerick; brothers- David Kimball and his wife Karen of Buxton, and Bruce Kimball and his wife Laurie of CA; grandchildren- Brooks, Logan, Morgan, Fiona, and Clayton; and a great grandson- Kye.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday Jan. 24th from 12 – 2 PM, followed by a 2 PM service at the Chad E. Poitras Cremation and Funeral Service Chapel, 125 Sokokis Trail (Rt. 5) East Waterboro. Online condolence messages can be submitted at www.mainefuneral.com
