Patricia “Pat” J. Bannister, 80, of Londonderry, NH, passed away Tuesday January 13, 2026 in the Elliot Hospital, Manchester, NH with her family by her side. She was born on July 9, 1945 in Arlington, MA, a daughter of the late Peter and Constance (Cagiano) Schultz, and had been a resident of Londonderry for over 50 years, formerly living in MA.
She is survived by three sons, Mark Bannister of Londonderry, Cory Bannister of Derry, and William Bannister of MA; one daughter, Faith Higgins Bannister of Derry; many loving grandchildren; and her brother, Greg Schultz of CA. She was predeceased by her husband, George Bannister in 2022, son, George Bannister in 2021 and her brother, Pete Schultz.
Patricia was an active member of her community throughout her adult life, having been a faithful member of Saint Jude’s Parish in Londonderry for many years. There, she was involved in the Women’s Guild and Quilter’s group, communities she held dear to her. Patricia was a talented quilter and cook, and her family will cherish the beautiful quilts and delicious recipes she has left for them. Patricia was always quick to lend a helping hand, make a meal, or support those around her in whatever way they needed. She will be remembered by those close to her as a generous, loving woman who always sought to care for others.
A calling hour will be held on Monday, January 19th from 5 - 6pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. A funeral service will follow at 6:00pm in the funeral home. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 21st at 10:00am in the chapel of the NH State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Hwy., Boscawen, NH.
