Jesus M. Echemendia (67) of East Weymouth died January 12th in the Boston Medical Center. He was the loving husband of Blanche Climo.
He was born in Cuba, the son of the late Jesus Echemendia and Carmella Echemendia. Jesus worked as a chef for many years and enjoyed cooking, cooking and entertaining with his family and friends, watching football, and spending time with Luna and Mathew that always put a smile of his face. He especially was known for being a great husband for more than 28 years to Blanche.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter Ayana “Nikki” Echemendia, (brother of the late Julio and Jose Echemendia), and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel, 238 Court Street Brockton, Tuesday January 20th from 4 pm to 7 pm. Cremation to follow.
