Cecile I. (Miller) Darcy, long time resident of Dorchester, most recently Quincy, passed away peacefully following a brief illness, January 8, 2026 at South Shore Hospital.
Born in Boston, MA, she was the daughter of the late Robert J. and Marie C. Miller.
Cecile was preceded in death by her loving husband, Stephen F. Darcy, Sr. and her son Robert P. Darcy.
Cecile is survived by her son Stephen F. Darcy, Jr. and his wife Kelly of Quincy. Cecile was a proud and loving grandmother to Caitlin, Taylor and Alexandra Darcy. Cecile was a dear sister to Louise Stappen and her husband Joseph of Dorchester, Bernadette McCarthy and her husband Kevin of South Boston and James Miller of Lynn. Cecile is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours at The Casper Funeral Home, 187 Dorchester Street, South Boston, Sunday, January 18th from 1:00-3:00p.m..
In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made in memory of Cecile to the Pine Street Inn, Boston.
