Daniel Joseph Tullos, 63, formerly of Wrentham, passed away peacefully on January 10.
Born in Lake Village, Arkansas, Danny was the beloved son of the late Mary (Daley) Kelley and the stepson of the late Joseph Kelley. He was raised in Walpole and later made his home on the Cape.
Danny spent many years working as a truck driver for Bella Construction Company, the Lorusso Company, and the Bruce Scott Company. A hard worker by nature, he took pride in his work and was never happier than when he was fixing, building, or working on machinery—skills he enjoyed and shared generously with others.
Outside of work, Danny found peace in nature. He especially loved spending time on Pete’s farm, where he enjoyed bailing hay, working alongside horses, and being outdoors. He took quite a joy in landscaping while working with his hands. In quieter moments, Danny enjoyed being near the ocean on Cape Cod, finding comfort and calm in the coastal air and sunshine.
Danny is survived by his children, Daniel Tullos of Massachusetts and Heather Ferreira and her husband Ryan of Rhode Island. He is also survived by his siblings, Robin Kantor of Massachusetts, as well as extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
He was predeceased by his sisters Diane Guthrie and Erin Tullos.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin, 131 Main Street, Franklin, on Monday, January 19th, from 4:00–6:00 p.m. (ginleyfuneralhomes.com)
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Danny’s memory to Mass Audubon Society.
Danny will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his mechanical mind, and the quiet love he held for his family. His legacy lives on through those who knew and loved him.
