Jacqueline Figueroa (50) of Hyde Park passed away on January 8th at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
She was born in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of the late Cesar Figueroa and Carmen Figueroa. Jacqueline enjoyed cooking, shopping, dining out, and trying new foods. She also loved getting her nails done, socializing with her family and friends, and especially teasing her significant other about going to “Ocho Café,” which always brought laughter to those around her.
Jacqueline is survived by her son, Anthony Martinez; her daughter, Nieomi Colon, and Bradley “Bradfather”; her significant other, Luis Colon; her brother, Miguel Ortega; (sister of the late Maria Mercedes Ortega), many cousins, nieces, nephews; and her beloved pets, her dog Doobie (the late Brownie) and her cat Cassandra.
Visitation will be held in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel, 238 Court Street, Brockton, Saturday January 17th from 4-7 pm.
Visitation in Puerto Rico will be held in Funeraria y Capillas, Morovis Memorial, PR-6622, Morovis, PR. 00687, Tuesday January 20th from 2pm-8pm
Burial will take place in Cementerio Municipal, Nuevo Ciales, P.R., Calle Lina R. Corretger, Ciales, PR 00635, Wednesday January 21st at 11 am.
