MARGARET CLAWSON OBITUARY
Margaret M. (Tabacsko) Clawson, 93, of Clymer, PA passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2026 at the Communities at Indian Haven, Indiana, PA.
The daughter of John and Anna (Peles) Tabacsko, she was born on August 13, 1932 in Kiel Run, Banks Twp., Indiana County, PA.
Margaret wed Harvey Lee Clawson and their family grew to include seven children.
Prior to her retirement, Margaret was employed as cook with Luigi’s in Clymer, PA.
Surviving are her children: Barbara Clawson of Indiana, PA; Patricia Cyphert and husband Dave of North Carolina; Walter Clawson and wife Bobbie of Indiana, PA; Christine Shuss and husband Bill of McGees Mills, PA; Samuel Clawson and wife Pam of Struthers, OH; Kenneth Clawson and wife Courtney of Clymer, PA and David Clawson and wife Sandy of Indiana, PA.
Also surviving are her fourteen grandchildren: Jodi Nagy; Matt Cyphert; Mark Cyphert; Kendra Gomez; Kristen Woods; Jaime Thompson; Paula Orner; Steven Shuss; Adam Shuss; Jason Clawson; Amanda Shelley; Landon Clawson; Nicole Clawson and Alyssa Clawson; twenty-five great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents; her husband; grandson, Logan Clawson; great granddaughter, Selena Gomez; four brothers; Frank Lash; Walter Tabacsko; Steve Lash and John Tabacsko, Jr; four sisters: Helen Fry; Anna Casaday; Bertha Tabacsko and Mary Walker.
Family and friends will be received from Noon – 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at the Rairigh Funeral Home, Ltd. in Hillsdale, PA. Interment at East Union Presbyterian Cemetery, Taylorsville, PA.
