She drove a Land Rover on their test track in Gaydon, England. She was thrilled at the chance to race to 178 miles per hour with a professional race car driver, in Jeff Gordon’s Nascar #24 on the International Speedway in Las Vegas, beating Bob and his driver in Richard Petty’s Nascar #43. She was also thrilled with her and Bob’s personal meeting with automobile collector Jay Leno. She loved jigsaw puzzles, her woodland walks with her dog Roxie and the special bond she had with her present dog Layla. But most especially, she loved the time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was the devoted mother to Kathleen Rogers of East Falmouth, MA, Kary Rogers of Buzzards Bay, MA, Paul Rogers of East Wenatchee, WA, R. Jon Rogers of Sandwich, MA., and her son, Kris who predeceased her in March 1986.
