Obituary

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Gilles Raymond Picard on November 25, 2025, in Agawam, Massachusetts, at the age of 80. Born on April 3, 1945, in Saint-Raphaël, Quebec, Gilles lived a life defined by hard work and devotion to family.
Gilles began his journey in the United States in Springfield, Massachusetts, where he and his beloved wife, Eileen Picard, built a beautiful life together. Eileen predeceased him in 2007, but their love and partnership remain an enduring example for all who knew them.
A skilled general contractor, Gilles was admired for his craftsmanship, integrity, and dedication to his clients and community. His work left a lasting mark on countless homes and businesses, but his greatest legacy was the laughter and joy he shared with family and friends.
Gilles is survived by his siblings: Yvon, Nicole, Denis, and Steven, who will forever cherish his memory. He was predeceased by his wife Eileen and his younger sister Louisette, both of whom lost their lives to cancer.
Gilles will be remembered for his commitment to family, his pride in his work, and his ability to bring joy to every occasion. His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
