Robert Alan Bennett, age 74, passed away on January 6, 2026 at Baystate Medical Center. He was born on February 3, 1951 in Duxbury, MA, son of the late Raymond and Barbara O. (King) Bennett. Robert worked as a manager for Pratt and Whitney for over 25 years before he retired. He was an avid Sports fan, especially for Massachusetts teams and also loved fishing. He is survived by his wife Maureen J. (Moriarty) Bennett of Chicopee; one son, James Bennett of Chicopee; two daughters, Kelly Brown and her husband Zachary of Middletown, CT and Katie Bennett and her partner Zachary Cook of Chicopee along with one grandchild, Wyatt Brown. He is predeceased by his brother Stephen Bennett. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, January 18, 2026 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee, MA.
