Dale Garry Givner: 77, of Upper Ojai CA passed away January 5, 2026 in Ventura CA surrounded by his loving family. Dale was born in Ohio to Edward (Eddie) and Erma Givner on May 27, 1947. Dale was an established Litigation Attorney for 51 years out of his private law firm in Oxnard CA. Dale helped a lot of families and people within his law firm and he took care of any person he encountered. He brought great joy and laughter to everyone he met.
Dale was the guardian angel and is survived by his wife Patricia Givner of Upper Ojai CA; his four children: Melissa Givner, Kevin Givner, Rose Palmer (Givner) and Lillian Givner. Dale is survived by his sister Jodi Wilson and her husband and three sons. Dale is survived by his four grandchildren: Kayden, Liam, Cody and Morgan. Dale was happily married for 40 years with his wife Patti and raised his children and grandchildren in Upper Ojai. He built and made a dream home for his family at Rando Del Oso.
Dale’s favorite activities included building a life around his family and friends. Some of Dale’s favorite things to do was traveling with his family-especially to Hawaii, spending time surfing and teaching his kids to surf and enjoy the beach, spending holidays and breaks skiing at Mammoth/June Lake/Park City Utah, golfing with his friend Gary, taking his family camping, enjoying the outdoors, he loved traveling and seeing the world with his family by his side. He lived and worked to make an exceptional life for his family. He will be missed greatly by everyone he met.
