
John Joseph Cvilikas, of South Boston, MA, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2026, at the age of 90.
Born on April 15, 1935, he was the son of John and Yadvida. John was a beloved brother to Richard, Edward, and Mary. John served his country proudly for eight years as a Sgt. in the United States Marine Corps where he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, and the Good Conduct Medal 1st Award.
John’s greatest achievements were husband, father, and grandfather. He never missed a birthday, holiday, or any celebration without sending cards and presents. His generosity and kind spirit will be remembered and missed forever.
He was previously married to Beverly Martini. John was a lovely father to his children Michael, Janice, John, James, Christine, Paul, Richard and Jennifer. John had 9 grandchildren Scott, Marc, Michelle, Alexa, Colby, Molly, Olivia, Luke, and Cam, and 6 great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the services. Visiting hours will be held Sunday January 11, 2026, from 1:00pm-3:00pm at Casper Funeral Home, 187 Dorchester St, Boston MA. Funeral mass will be on Monday January 12, 2026, 10:00am at St. Peter Lithuanian Parish, 75 Flaherty Wy, South Boston, MA. Interment at New Calvary Cemetery 800 Harvard St Mattapan, MA.
