
Gregory Grant Garritt, 72, of Bellingham passed away peacefully at the Lydia Taft House in Uxbridge on December 21, 2025, after a battle with cancer.
He was a cherished son, brother and friend to many, and his presence will be deeply missed.
Born in Manhattan, New York City, May 20, 1953, the son of the late Robert H. Garritt , Jr. and Betty T. Garritt, Greg grew up in Dover where he attended Dover Schools through the 7th grade, after which he entered the 8th grade at Noble and Greenough School in Dedham where quickly became one of the greatest athletes in the school’s history.
Greg is survived by his beloved wife Carol (Millner) of Bellingham.
He is also survived by his sisters Timi G. Parsons of South Salem, New York and Robert H. “Hap” Garritt of Falmouth.
He was the brother of the late Marcie G. Garritt of St. Paul, Oregon, passed away shortly after Greg’s death.
He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at the First Universalist Society in Franklin (FUSF) 262 Chestnut Street, Franklin on Tuesday, January 27at 11:00 a.m.
