Carmela Josephine (Fiore) Zielinski, 91, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2026, surrounded by loved ones. A longtime resident of Everett, MA, and Fort Lauderdale, FL, Carmela was a woman of deep faith and a “spicy” personality that made her the heart of every gathering.
Predeceased by her beloved husband, Richard P. Zielinski, Carmela is survived by her three daughters, Debra Bellacqua, Brenda Zielinski, and Sondra Kelley; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Carmela’s selflessness and vibrant spirit lit up every room she entered, and she will be forever missed by all who knew her.
In accordance with her wishes, services will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Carmela’s honor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
