Dianne E. Ward, age 69, formerly of Hopedale, Foxborough and Mansfield, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 3, 2026 at St Patrick’s Manor in Framingham.
Born in Brookline, MA on October 24, 1956, she was a loving daughter of the late George L, Jr. and Florence A. (Labagnara) Ward.
Dianne grew up in the Town of Mansfield and was a 1974 graduate of Mansfield High School. She continued her education, receiving a Bachelors Degree in Education for Bridgewater State College and later returned to her studies, receiving a Master’s Degree from Lesley College in Boston.
Prior to retiring, Dianne had been employed as a Human Resource Manager at E.L. Harvey in Westborough. Dianne loved spending time with her family, especially Sunday dinners and while living in Hopedale, was actively involved as a communicant of Sacred Heart Church. Dianne will always be remembered for the special place she had in her heart for her cats, who brought her much joy and happiness.
She was the devoted sister of Michael A. ward and his wife Catherine of Marlborough. She was the cherished aunt of Stephanie G. Ward of Somerville and Michael G. Ward of Hudson.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a graveside funeral service on Thursday, January 8th at 1:00 P.M. at Saint Mary’s Cemetery, 1 Franklin Street in Mansfield.
Visiting hours are omitted.
