Andrea Grant passed away peacefully on December 27, 2025, at the age of 80.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of the late Carlee Kostant Grant and William Grant, and later attended college at Boston University and Clark University. A gifted writer, Andrea contributed editorials and book reviews to the Beverly Times, interviewed Hollywood figures, and later worked as an employment supervisor for the State of Massachusetts. Music and faith were central to her life. An accomplished pianist, she loved classical music, sang with the Newburyport Choral Society, and served as First Reader at the First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Newburyport. Andrea was an avid reader, a devoted dog mother, and was known for her love of chocolate.
She is survived by many cousins, family in Atlanta, Georgia, and a wide circle of friends, and will be remembered for her kindness, faith, and joy for life.
