Cornelius James "Jim" Reardon
December 19, 1950- December 19, 2025
After tenaciously battling the ravages of ALS for 7 years, Cornelius "Jim" Reardon, with the love of family, friends, his cat, Clarence, and the compassionate aid of hospice was beamed up on December 19, 2025, to boldly go where many have gone before; the final frontier.
He was a father, a husband and a friend to animals. He was a talented artist, a believer in the paranormal, an ardent Trekkie, an admirer of muscle cars and a lover of the Beatles; not only for the music, but the way a song could transport him in his mind.
With a pack of cigarettes or nurturing the occasional baby squirrel in his shirt pocket, he lived for the unknown each dawn, but always returned home with incredible stories of his adventures.
Jim is predeceased by his parents, Cornelius and Catherine (Curtin) Reardon, and his grandson, Aloric Reardon-Smith.
He is survived by his ever faithful cat, Clarence, his former wife, Catherine Reardon-Bauer, his daughter, Monica Reardon, and his grandchildren, Ray and Azzie Smith.
The celebration of life will be on January 10, 2026 from 2-6p located on 88 West Ashland Street, Brockton at Conte Memorial Club.
