HUBBARDSTON – Janice E. (Gorski) McJunkins, 61, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, December 31, 2025 in Saint Vincent Hospital, Worcester, surrounded by her family.
She leaves her sister, Melissa Geodeke and her husband Phil of Mims, FL; a brother, Donald J. Cournoyer, Jr. and his wife Jennifer of Dudley; 3 nephews, Zachary Cournoyer, Philip Geodeke and Anthony Goedeke; her former husband, John McJunkins.
She was born on September 8, 1964 in Webster, a daughter of Richard E. Gorski and Judith A. (Rock) Boivin.
Ms. McJunkins was the former co-owner and office manager of Matthews Truck Service and Towing in Sterling.
She was a lover of all animals, was an avid NASCAR fan, enjoyed traveling and Harley Davidsons, and appreciated good cuisine, especially seafood.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Sitkowski, Malboeuf & Hickey Funeral Home, 340 School Street. Donations in her memory may be made to the Second Chance Animal Shelter, 111 Young Road
