Keith E. Anderson, age 72, a longtime resident of Tewksbury, retired Nashua, NH Fire Department Assistant Fire Chief, and founder of Anderson Flooring Company, of Tewksbury, passed away on Monday, December 29, 2025, following a courageous battle with lung cancer.
He was the beloved husband of Nancy L. (Trainor) Anderson, with whom he would have celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary on February 2, 2026.
Born in Stoneham on May 17, 1953, he was the son of the late Wayne E. Anderson and the late Mabel “Mae” (Lloyd) Anderson.
Keith was raised in Tewksbury and graduated from Tewksbury Memorial High School with the Class of 1971.
Keith devoted his life to his family, the people of the City of Nashua, NH, and the numerous Tewksbury area families and contractors that he assisted with their home remodeling and flooring needs.
In his spare time, he enjoyed traveling to the casinos in Las Vegas and reminiscing with the “townies” of Tewksbury.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his four children, Keith E. Anderson, Jr. and his wife Ruth Ann Vleugels, Wayne E. Anderson, Dawn-Marie Anderson, and Brett D. Anderson and his wife Heather: his grandchildren, Brady, Davin, Liam, Jack, Caroline, Luke, Kate and Alana. Keith is the brother of Russel C. Anderson and his wife Jane and the late Douglas W. Anderson and his surviving wife Donna.
He leaves many nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Calling hours are Friday, January 9, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee Street, Tewksbury. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 10th, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment to follow at Tewksbury Cemetery, 172 East Street, Tewksbury. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute at www.dana-farber.org
