MIDDLEFIELD - John P. Peros, of Middlefield and a former resident of East Springfield, passed away at his home at the age of 75. He was born in Springfield on July 31, 1950 a beloved son of Irene (Trikas) Peros of Laurence Street in Springfield and the late Peter John Peros. He was raised in Springfield, graduated from the former Technical High School in 1968 and received a Bachelor’s Degree from UMASS and a Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture from Cornell University. John was employed as a City Planner for the City of Springfield and was last employed with the Massachusetts Highway Department. Besides his loving mother, Irene Peros, he leaves his brother, Michael Manos Peros and his wife, Maggie, of Enfield and his cherished niece, Samantha Peros of Enfield. He was predeceased by his sister, Mary Peros. His services for his family will be private.
