SPRINGFIELD – Nicole Mary Rita (Menard) Liberti, age 50, of the Sixteen Acres section of Springfield was called safely home on Christmas Day, Thursday, December 25, 2025. She passed into eternal life at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston surrounded by the love and comfort of her devoted family. Born in Manhattan, New York on February 15, 1975, Nicole was the cherished daughter of Gerald Joseph Menard of Chicopee and the late Linda Joyce (Renaud) Menard who predeceased her on July 16, 2022. She was last employed as a Food Service Manager, where she was known for her dedication and kindness. Nicole found joy in life’s simple pleasures of attending estate sales and auctions, antiquing, playing bingo, visiting the casino, and traveling especially to her favorite spot in Cape Cod. Above all, Nicole treasured her family, her beloved dogs (Coco, Jasper, and the late Enzo) and her many friends. She leaves her loving husband and best friend, Anthony J. Liberti. They were married on July 10, 1994, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Springfield and were blessed with over 31 years of happiness together. Besides her father and husband, she leaves her loving children, Gianna N. Liberti and John A. Liberti and his partner, Hannah Sadlowski, all of Springfield; her three cherished sisters, Debbie F. Riccitelli and her husband, Marty, of Naples, FL, Christine F. Ives and her husband, Jeff, of East Durham, NY, and Elizabeth S. Teixeira and her husband, Joseph, of Ludlow; her brother-in-law John P. Liberti and his wife, Terri, of Chicopee; along with her many dear nephews, nieces, godchildren, grandnephews, cousins, numerous friends and extended family members. Her family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 395 Chestnut Street, Springfield, MA 01104. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. at the same location.
