Obituary

Marie T. Daddario, 90, a lifelong resident of Franklin, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was the devoted wife of the late John L. "Jack" Daddario, Sr., with whom she shared 63 years of marriage until his passing in 2023.

Marie was born on January 26, 1935, to the late Frank and Florence (Vendetti) DeGrazia. She was a pillar of strength and kindness to her family and friends. She married Jack, the love of her life, on April 18, 1959. Together they were devoted to each other and developed deep roots in the community through building a business and a family. She dedicated her life to her home and loved ones, embodying the values of faith, loyalty, and generosity.

Marie was the cherished mother of Diane Daddario and her husband John Jardine, John "Jack" Daddario, Jr. and his wife Carol, Donna MacKay and her husband Keith, Debbie Gillespie and her husband Michael, James “Jim” Daddario and his wife Susan, and Dina Fairweather, all of Franklin.

She was the proud grandmother of 16 grandchildren: Nichole, Jenna, Sarah, Keith Jr., Katie, Kevin, Jimmy Jr., Jeffrey, Julia, Anna, Abby, Jack, Grace, Michael Jr., Maggie and Ellie, and 2 great grandchildren: Leo and Luke.

Marie was predeceased by her brothers Frank DeGrazia and Michael “Mickey” DeGrazia.

Known for her warm spirit and unwavering support of her family's endeavors, Marie touched the lives of all who knew her. Her legacy lives on in the close-knit family she helped build and the Franklin community she called home.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Mass Friday January 2, 2026, in St. Mary's Church, 1 Church Square Franklin at 11AM.

A private family burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.

Calling hours are respectfully omitted.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a Franklin-area charity of your choice or the Alzheimer’s Association.

The family wishes to express their gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this time. Marie will be deeply missed but forever remembered in our hearts.
