Sandra Elizabeth Dixon Jacobs, 83, of Ocilla, Georgia, died Sunday, December 28, 2025, at Magnolia Personal Care Home in Ocilla.
Graveside services will be held 4 PM, Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at the Big Creek Cemetery in Irwin County, with the Elder Stephen Drawdy officiating. The family will greet friends at the cemetery following the service.
Ms. Jacobs was born November 11, 1942, in Irwin County, Georgia, to the late Elbert and Katie Pearl Williams Dixon. She started her career as a Ward Clerk for Tift Regional Medical Center and retired after 30 plus years as the secretary to the Director of Nursing. Ms. Jacobs enjoyed playing the piano, cross stitching, and reading a good book. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her sisters: Linda Nell Dixon Weaver & Wayne and Iris Dixon Henderson & Dan; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Bobbie Pearl Dixon McCrimmon, Ida Virginia Dixon Evans, Jimmy Dixon and Betty Lafern Dixon.
