Joseph “Joe” A. Ferrini of North Easton passed away peacefully on December 21, 2025 at age 99, surrounded by his loving family.
Joe was the former owner and operator of Superior Baking Company, one of Brockton’s oldest businesses, where his dedication and work ethic left a lasting mark on the community. A man of many interests, he was a great lover of music and golf, passions that brought him joy throughout his life.
Above all else, Joe was a devoted family man. He was best known as “Papa” to his nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and many nieces and nephews, all of whom adored him deeply. He is survived by his beloved wife, Jackie, with whom he shared 66 wonderful years of marriage.
Joe was predeceased by his eldest daughter, Robin “Woddie” Ferrini. He is also survived by his daughter Cindy Matook and her husband Mike of Stoughton; his son Joseph Ferrini Jr. and his wife Gina of South Easton; his son David and his wife Deana of Braintree; and his son-in-law Bernard Mendillo of Canton. He was a loving grandfather and great-grandfather to Zachary, Sydney, Gianna, Benjamin, Jack, Daniella, Ali, Nick, Bella, and Paxton.
In lieu of a traditional service, the family asks that you honor Joe’s memory by enjoying a fantastic Italian meal and a VO on the rocks in his name. A celebration of life will be planned and announced at a later date.
