
CURRAN, Richard A. of Topsfield, formerly of West Roxbury, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on December 23, 2025. Beloved husband of 61 years to Margaret “Peggy” (Furden). Loving father of Richard A. Curran, Jr., Cathleen “Kate” Yessayan and her husband George all of Topsfield and the late baby Kevin Christopher Curran. Adored Papa of Chris Bullens, Jr. and his wife Cassandra of Topsfield, Anthony Bullens of West Roxbury and Rachael Yessayan of Topsfield. Great-grandfather to Isabella Bullens and Chris Bullens, III of Topsfield. Predeceased by his beloved parents Albert and Claire Curran and sisters Helen Mulhern and Frances Sullivan. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins and his adored grand furbabies Rocco and Huey. Richard was born in Roslindale and graduated from Mission High School and Wentworth Institute of Technology. He retired after a 35-year career at the Thermo Electron Company. He was a man of many talents and was the best family man. The family would like to thank Care Dimensions Hospice and his caretakers: Leslie, Marylou, and Marcello for their compassionate care. Visiting hours will be held in the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre St., West Roxbury on Friday, January 2nd at 9:30am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Theresa Church at 11:00am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
