Obituary

Juline Dupoux, of Boston, passed away on December 22, 2025, at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, shortly after the final embrace of her family. Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, Juline committed 24 years of her life to the service of others as a nurse.

Fueled by a profound devotion to God, Juline was a truth-seeker and a humanitarian at her core. She cared deeply for the well-being of the global Haitian and African communities, dedicating her final years to the deep contemplation of human suffering. Though she maintained a modest appearance, she possessed an "expensive" spirit and a hidden musical gift for the saxophone.

She is survived by her sisters, Edith, Marie Carmel, Marlene, Myrtha ,Flore, Maryse, and Kettlie; her brothers, Joseph Trotner, Jean Wesner, Jean Brunel, and her many other siblings. Her nieces and nephews Isnard and Sergia; Josette (and her children) , Claire Maggy (and her children), Sabine (and her children), Noldy (and his children), Danick (and her children), Laura (and her children), Clarck (and his children), Calvin, Leeroy, Stephane (and his children), Stanley (and his children), Wendy, her Great Nieces Aaliyah and Sofia; and a host of other loving friends, cousins, nieces, nephews, and their children.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Claire Phanie Noel Dupoux; her father, Jules Dupoux; and her brother, Serge Dupoux and her nephew Joseph Dupoux Jr.

A Request from the Family:
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you use the example of Juline’s life to reflect on how you might strengthen your impact on both your immediate and global community. Acts of kindness extended to those truly in need would be the greatest tribute to her legacy. The family appreciates your thoughts and prayers.
