Michelle A. Pothier (Andreottola) passed away peacefully on December 24th at the Brigham and Women's Hospital. She was 33. Raised in Medford she was the daughter of Pasquale Andreottola and Anna (Federico) Andreottola.
A graduate of Medford High School and Lesley University, Michelle enjoyed a career as an elementary school teacher. She worked at several schools including the Cambridge Hebrew School of the Arts and the Medford Family Network. A loving wife, mother, daughter, and sister, Michele was an aggressively caring person who loved children and lived to help and nurture others. She was a great mom and an enthusiastic Disney fan. Her bubbly personality and loving smile brought the best out of everyone she knew.
The beloved wife of David J. Pothier, Jr., she was a loving mother to David, III and Anna Pothier. She was a devoted daughter to Pasquale and Anna, and a dear sister to Anthony Andreottola. She was the niece of Franco and Domenic Federico and Grace Romano. Michelle was the sister-in-law of Julia Pothier, and Terrence Pothier and his wife Alison and a loving aunt to their children Paul and Gabriel. She is also survived by many more relatives and dear friends.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Tuesday, December 30th, from 9 – 11 AM, followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford at 11:30 AM. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Mausoleum, Everett.
