
LACONIA --- Richard Conrad Heinz Jr., 88, of Willow Street, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 26, 2025, after a lengthy illness, at home surrounded by his loved ones.
Richard was born on February 8, 1937, in New Haven, CT, the son of the late Richard Conrad Heinz Sr., and Lillian B. (Woodcock) Heinz.
Those that knew him know he had a gentle soul and a heart of gold and was loved by many friends that adored him. He graduated from Inter-Lakes High School. After his retirement of 40 years with Coca-Cola he enjoyed golfing, hunting, refinishing furniture, and fishing with his son-in-law Normand up north at their seasonal camp. He was a member of the Lakeport Assoc. for many years. His greatest joys were his wife, whom he loved and adored dearly, his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Richard is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Evelyn Heinz; son Kenneth A. Heinz (Jayne) of Hollow Rock, TN; daughters Joanne E. Sanschagrin (Normand), of Gilmanton, NH, Dianne M. Leach (Gene), of Gilford, NH, and Audra J. Wall (Douglas), of Laconia, NH; grandchildren Karla Flanders (Jacob Griffin), of Bristol, VT, Tracey Flanders (Andrew Hoekstra), of Campton, NH, Taylor McNeil (Jerecho), of Laconia, NH, Emily Avery (Noah Chertok) , of Laconia, NH, Matthew Kimball (Jayme), Meredith, NH, and Allison Kimball, of Clarksburg, TN; great-grandchildren Aricin and Jaran Griffin, of Bristol, VT, Jocelyn and Lincoln Hoekstra, of Campton, NH, Alexis, Chloe, Maddox and Bennett McNeil, of Laconia NH, Aiden, Aubrey, and Axlyn Kimball, of Meredith, NH, Jayce Murphy and Tyleigh Tharpe, of Clarksburg, TN. In addition to his parents, Richard is predeceased by his brothers William Heinz and Thomas Heinz.

Calling Hours will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. in the Carriage House, at Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at 1:30 p.m., also at the funeral home.
A Graveside Service will be held later in the Spring of 2026 at Oakland Cemetery, Meredith, NH.
