Nery Santos of Guatemala City, 74 years old. Born May 24th 1951. He died peacefully at home surrounded by his family, on December 17th, 2025. Nery was a beloved husband of Sonia Marroquin for 28 years, loving father of 3 daughters Irene, Paola, Wendy and son Junior. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Saniyyah Phillips, Jahkaii Gutierrez, Dionis Santiago, Catalina, Kemiegh, and other family. He loved his community church family. He loved to dance Salsa. His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family. His dedication to his faith and desire to bring light to those in need epitomized his joyful and generous nature. Those who knew Nery will remember him for his overwhelming jokes and laughter, and his deep-rooted faith in Jesus.
A memorial service will be held at 9 a.m., Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at St Columbkille Parish, Brighton, MA.

Nery Santos, de Ciudad de Guatemala, de 74 años. Nació el 24 de Mayo de 1951. Falleció pacíficamente en su hogar, rodeado de su familia, el 17 de Diciembre de 2025. Nery fue un amado esposo de Sonia Marroquín durante 28 años, y un cariñoso padre de tres hijas: Irene, Paola y Wendy, y un hijo, Junior. Le sobreviven también cinco nietos: Saniyyah Phillips, Jahkaii Gutierrez, Dionis Santiago, Catalina, Kemiegh, y demás familiares. Amaba a su comunidad parroquial. Le encantaba bailar salsa. Su partida ha dejado un vacío en el corazón de su familia. Su dedicación a su fe y su deseo de brindar consuelo a quienes lo necesitaban ejemplificaban su naturaleza alegre y generosa. Quienes conocieron a Nery lo recordarán por su gran sentido del humor y sus risas contagiosas, y por su profunda fe en Jesús.
Se celebrará un servicio conmemorativo a las 9:00 a.m., del Martes 30 de Diciembre de 2025 en la Iglesia San Columbkille, en Brighton, Massachusetts.
