BRISTOL ---- Reba Marcia (Gordon) Payne, 86, of Spring Street, passed away at her home with her loving husband and children by her side, on Sunday, December 21, 2025.
Reba was born on January 7, 1939, in New Hampton, the daughter of Daniel and Hazel (Kenney) Gordon.
Marcia was an avid reader, she loved walking and hiking trails, nature, wildlife viewing and spending time outdoors with her family. She enjoyed attending pow-wows and the Crow Hop Dance.
She served as a Supervisor of the Checklist, Newfound High School Keeper of the Alumni, Bristol Elementary School Hot Lunch Lady and attended the Bristol United Church of Christ.
Reba is survived by her husband Alfred Payne, son Douglas Payne, daughter Diane Payne and two grandchildren Samantha (Payne) Mullen and her husband Chris, and Douglas Payne, Jr., and Sara Elizabeth, two great-grandchildren Kaia Michelle Mullen and Eleanor Ann Payne and nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Reba is predeceased by her brother Thomas Gordon and sisters, Priscilla Dahlin, Ruth Kidder and Mary Carlson.
At this time there will be no services.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations in Reba’s name be made to the Lakes Region Visiting Nurse Association, 186 Waukewan St. #6023, Meredith, NH 03253.
